This is part of a comic book series: “The Adventures of Captain O’Scampi” This lesson is all about adverbs and friendship. It comes with a comprehensive lesson/s and an activity booklet to go with the presentation. The lesson is introduced by the comic: ‘Captain O’Scampi Meets Schäfi Schafington’. The lesson then contains: reading comprehension, grammar explanation, gap fills, translations, vocabulary learning strategies (flashcards/mindmaps), written task - describe a photo, written 90 word task into a comic strip. The comics have been designed for the new AQA/Edexcel GCSE 2024, however, they can be used for anyone learning German. This presentation is aimed at students wanting to achieve grade 7 or more in their French GCSE. I have used it for revision sessions. The presentation goes through different grammatical structures, giving an example and an activity for each structure. The final task is a choice of two writing tasks with an example answer. It outlines the assessment criteria, gives top tips, gives example tasks, suggestions on how to prepare and then example answers. It can be downloaded as a microsoft document, or there are links to Canva on the second slide of the power point. One Canva link requires no sign in and the power point can be used as is and presented.
